Our 'nourish + nurture' retreat day is a day to reconnect and reflect on our mind body connection.

From the moment you step into this beautiful retreat space you be 'on retreat'.

Our 'nourish +nurture' day is all about nourishing your mind body and soul. As with all of our retreat days, it is an opportunity to remove yourself from the normal routine and environment and connect back to you and provide perspective beyond day to day life.

The day is delivered in a relaxed manner and designed to enhance the mind-body connection through movement, posture, nutrition, breathing, meditation, chanting, self-reflection and education.

Yoga asana and philosophy is delivered in its full context as a full holistic system and in a way that is easy to understand and apply in day to day life.

The day is 'Ayurveda inspired' and designed to give a simple introduction to this sister science of yoga.

AYU - Life + VEDA - Knowledge = The ‘Science of life & longevity’

Ayurveda is the oldest known system of healing and recognises the connection of mind and body.

Two most important aims of Ayurveda are

- to maintain the health of healthy people

- to cure the diseases of sick people

Ayurveda gives the key to self-knowledge of body, mind and consciousness through empowered health and living.

Your retreat facilitators Izzy & Verity bring with them knowledge and experience in traditional Hatha Yoga and applied Ayurveda having studied and designed this retreat with with Shantarasa Yoga Darshana and Ayurvedic Doctor, Vikas Mali.

'let food be thy medicine, not thy poison'

All of our RISE Retreats are delivered in the most beautiful spaces and scenic surroundings and the Peninsula Event & Eco Retreat at Point Boston is no exception!!
